DSAMT offers a variety of programs for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. From supporting new parents of children with Down syndrome, to partnering with Vanderbilt Children's Hospital to address medical issues through the Down Syndrome Clinic, to bringing together families, experts, and community leaders for a state-wide conference on Down syndrome, DSAMT has become an important community resource for families in Middle Tennessee.

Most importantly, the families of DSAMT are here to support each other, share information, and have fun! We work together to help show that individuals with Down syndrome are not defined by how many chromosomes they have, and that with proper support they can live full and active lives,  participating fully in the community.

this yearly program offers six weeks of free professionally-led group counseling for parents of children with Down syndrome

SibSaturdays

games, activities and conversation in a group setting for children who have a sibling with a developmental disability

Grandparents Support Group

grandparents get together for quarterly meetings to discuss a variety of topics related to loving a child with special needs click here for more information

Circle of Friends

a monthly gathering for kids and adults with Down syndrome that includes fun educational and social opportunities. click here for more information

Educational Workshop Series
